USBP Intercepts Human Smuggler’s Flight

JAMUL, Calif. A human smuggler attempted to flee U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) agents Tuesday night and struck civilian and law enforcement vehicles during his erratic flight, causing seven people to be treated at area hospitals.
Driver tried to smuggle 10 undocumented migrants Tuesday night. On his high speed flight, he collided with civilian and Border
Patrol vehicles.The incident began at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, when a 24-year-old male U.S. citizen in a Chevy Tahoe approached the Highway 94 checkpoint in East County San Diego. In the front passenger seat was a 17-year-old male.

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCSC) - Emergency crews have extinguished a fire at a house under renovation in West Ashley Wednesday evening.
It happened at a home on W. Confederate Circle.
Officials with the Charleston Fire Department say 911 operators received a call about the fire just before 5:30 p.m. Arriving crews reported smoke and fire coming from the one story home.
Firefighters reported that the attic area was on fire.

Excitement is building as boxing rivals Joseph Parker and Junior Fa prepare to step into the ring for what has been billed as one of the biggest events in New Zealand boxing history.
Fight night is this Saturday at Auckland s Spark Arena with tickets selling fast for the much-anticipated event.
Promoter David Higgins said about 80 per cent of the tickets have been sold.
So far more than 8000 people are expected to attend the event with corporates snapping up about 95 tables to treat staff and host clients.
